It's not press board, it's not sanded, but it's not press board. I am just trying to figure out what year and model this is so I know. Not the first time that stuff belonging to an ex has ended up in the dumpster!But, don't worry, registering is quick, easy and painless. Nothing stamped into the headstock, nothing under the neck. If I am missing somewhere, could someone please tell me where? This is something I would like to restore, counterfeit or not! Someone broke up with their boyfriend and was throwing all his junk out in a dumpster and I grabbed it. I am just trying to figure out what year and model this is so I know. It basically needs the tuning knobs, toggle switch, Bigsby fixed/replaced, strings, and the nut glued. It has a little bit of a raised top, but not much at all. I did take off the cover for the control cavity once to see if it was press board or solid wood.
There's no lp signature on the headstock like on the newer one. The guitar plays great and sounds pretty good to I'm not sure what pickups are in mine so I will have to check that out when I go to swap them out for something a little hotter.
